Naturally Boosted Testosterone

TESTOSTERONE

Low testosterone is on the rise amongst men. Symptoms can range from weight gain, low or even no sex drive, erectile function, reduced muscle mass, gynecomastia, hot flashes, loss of bone mass and more.

LIFESTYLE

Life's filled with chemicals that affect our endocrine system, disrupting our hormone balance. Processed foods, plastics, heavy metals, environmental toxins, all contribute to hormone imbalances.

Avoid using products that are supplied through gyms or facilities ie. shampoo and moisturizers provided.

Sleep is extremely important. A large amount of testosterone is produced during sleep. Long term sleep deprivation and apnea can reduce levels. Conversely low testosterone levels can affect sleep quality.

FOOD PERSPECTIVE

Include

  • Poultry, Fish, Bison, Beef, Lamb, Wild Game
  • Fruits
  • Vegetables
  • Legumes
  • Pumpkin seeds, Brazil Nuts (3-4 per day)
  • Pollens (Bee & Pine)
  • Honey (local unpasteurized)

Avoid

  • Processed Meats
  • Fast food restaurants
  • Sugary Foods and Drinks
  • Alcohol
  • Soy Products (in excess)
  • Vegetable oils (high in omega 6)
  • Licorice Root
  • Trans Fats

SUPPLEMENTS PERSPECTIVE

There are a lot of products that tout the boost of testosterone and their muscle building capabilities. Do your research before you invest. Not all products are made equal. These are a few of my favourites.

    • Vitamin D (best to have tested first) 2500 iu to 10 000 iu
    • Magnesium, 400 mg to 800 mg
    • Omega 3, 1500 mg morning, 1500mg evening
    • Boron, 9 mg for 14 days, then continue @ 3 mg per day for the rest of the bottle. Repeat every two to 3 months. Take with calcium rich food, vitamin D and magnesium
    • Oak Bud, a gemmotherapy that stimulates pituitary gland to produce luteinizing hormone, increasing testosterone production from the gonads
  • Pine Pollen
  • Shilajit
  • Tongkat Ali
  • Horny Goat Weed
  • Pycnogenol
  • Fenugreek

SPIRITUAL CONNECTION

Testosterone relates to spiritual well-being and purpose in men, particularly in the context of personal growth and health optimization.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

Consider the following:

  • Nature Connection: Grounding has been shown to increase testosterone levels. Getting outside, enjoying fresh air and the sun (Vit D).
  • Hormonal cancer causing endocrine disruption.
  • The use of hormonal replacement therapy.
